Essential Functions

1. Promote the Company’s commitment towards safety to all employees.
2. Assist in maintaining the Company’s safety program.
3. Perform jobsite safety assessments.
4. Assists with injured employees. Provides transportation to medical facilities if needed.
5. Assists in completing all forms.
6. Responsible for jobsite safety orientation for new employees.
7. Assists in performing or collecting paperwork for weekly Tool Box Talks and/or OJT’s.
8. Responsible for ensuring that all employees have and are using the proper protective equipment
needed to perform the job safely.
9. Write reprimands as needed.
10. Report if there are any unsafe hazards or conditions on the jobsite. Write jobsite hazard analysis
and corrects hazards and/or takes appropriate action in order to get hazards abated.
11. Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
12. Conform to all company policies and procedures.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction and 1910 General Industry Standards as they pertain to our business. 2. Knowledge of basic accident and injury investigation techniques. 3. Ability to assess jobsite hazards and take immediate corrective action.
Work Environment

Field Environment – This position operates in a construction site and is subject to changing environmental conditions including extreme cold and hot temperatures, wind, and humidity; uneven walking surfaces with cords, tools and other obstacles; intermittent loud noises; and dusty or dirty conditions. Required PPE includes: Hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs, hard-soled work boots, GFCI protection, fall protection, dust masks, respirators.
