Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities of the position include:

1. Process accurate weekly payroll for Union Employees.
2. Balance and verify all weekly field payrolls.
3. New employee set up, employee termination paperwork and maintenance of employee files
4. Respond and process employment verifications, wage garnishments, and unemployment claims in a timely manner.
5. Submit weekly Certified Payroll Reports as required on a job per job basis.
6. Complete accurate monthly Union Reports in timely manner.
7. Respond and resolve any issues arising from payroll processing.
8. Attend and participate in all required company training.
9. Conform to all company policies and procedures.
10. Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
2. 2 or more years of Union payroll experience
3. Knowledge of Windows applications, including Microsoft Office and Accounting software.
4. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
5. Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 based on experience.
