Civic Elite is seeking a Vice President to lead the next chapter of our growth. This is an opportunity for an accomplished construction executive to shape strategy, expand market presence, develop people, strengthen client relationships, and drive business performance while building a lasting legacy.

As the senior leader of Civic Elite, you will have the autonomy to lead the business while partnering with an experienced executive team committed to sustainable growth and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the overall leadership, growth, profitability, culture, and performance of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

• Develop and deliver the strategic vision for Civic Elite.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and service offerings.
• Position Civic Elite for long-term success and increased enterprise value.

Business Development & Client Relationships

• Build and strengthen relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and industry partners.
• Lead key pursuits, presentations, negotiations, and strategic opportunities.
• Drive customer satisfaction and repeat business through exceptional service and execution.
• Serve as a visible ambassador for Civic Elite within the construction industry and local communities.

Operational & Financial Leadership

• Provide executive leadership across estimating, preconstruction, project management, field operations, safety, and support functions.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain accountability for P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, backlog management, cash flow, and financial results.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

People & Culture

• Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional talent.
• Build high-performing teams and develop future leaders.
• Champion a culture grounded in respect, integrity, teamwork, accountability, and safety.
• Lead organizational change and support the continued growth and development of the business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within commercial construction, general contracting, or related industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and driving profitable business growth.
• Previous responsibility for business unit performance, P&L management, backlog growth, operational leadership, and business development within a commercial general contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of construction operations, project delivery, estimating, preconstruction, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and risk management.
• Experience leveraging construction ERP, project management, reporting, and business intelligence platforms such as Penta, Plexxis, Viewpoint Vista, CMiC, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft 365, or similar systems.
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to use data to drive decision-making and performance.
• Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building organizations, developing people, and driving results.
