Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

  • Monthly closing of the general ledger and financial statements.
  • Assisting President with annual budgeting process.
  • Accounts receivable, collections, local banking, and cash transactions.
  • Process new customer credit checks.
  • Preparation of Sales and Use tax returns.
  • Monthly Journal Entries (as needed).
  • Manage the Job Start and Closing process.
  • Coordinate preparation of monthly contract billings; and maintaining lien rights and coordinating conditional or unconditional waivers.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of all office equipment and upkeep of common interior office areas.
  • Coordinate the hire and on-boarding process to include new hire paperwork and orientation.
  • Input and maintain Contract Management systems as it relates to change orders, T&M tickets, and contract price.
  • Process and distribute Contract Management reports and Change Order reports to the appropriate department(s).
  • Attend and participate in all required company training.
  • Conform to all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


We are looking for someone with:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience, preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, including financial reporting, balance sheets, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Knowledge of cash management principles along with EFT software programs.
  • Knowledge of Windows applications, including Office 365 and advanced Excel and Accounting software skills.
