Senior Accountant

CDM Service Group is a centralized office that provides our Construction, Distribution, and Manufacturing companies with various administrative functions, services, and support for their businesses.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Cash Management and reconciliation.
• Monthly close of general ledger.
• Income statement analysis.
• Balance sheet reconciliation.
• End of month financial reporting.
• Fixed asset capitalization.
• Assist with year-end financial and tax audits.
• Sales tax compliance.
• Facilitating budgeting and annual forecasting processes.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Has working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, including financial reporting, balance sheets, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Accounting (or related field).
• 5 years of accounting experience with understanding of GAAP.
• Innovative problem solver proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
