CDM is looking for a Benefits Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the company’s employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks. This role assists with the compliance to applicable laws and regulations, assists employees with benefits-related inquiries, and works closely with HR, payroll, and external vendors to ensure smooth benefits operations.
Responsibilities:
· Administer day-to-day benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
· Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education about available benefits.
· Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure data integrity in benefits systems.
· Provide concierge level assistance to employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit matters.
· Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, such as ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
· Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs.
· Audit and reconcile all enrollments, terminations and benefit invoices monthly.
· Research and recommend enhancements to benefit offerings based on employee needs and industry trends.
· Support annual open enrollment processes, including employee communications and system updates.
· Provide ongoing proactive and timely employee benefits education.
· Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
· Participate in various committees as assigned.
· Conform to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR.
· Knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations.
· Experience with benefits administration systems for multi-state employers.
· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and confidentiality.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
